Next step: searching for good, thick, some crooked log of pine wood – of course for didge making, similar to your ones: thick, powerful and so lovely playing !!!
During this last 2 months I have made several didges; all of them are made of Giant Hogweed stems (Heracleum sosnovskyi).
Stems were harvested at autumn, when the plants are brown and dead.
Such didges produce strong, warm sound, rich with harmonics.
